David Israel performs live at Antone's Record Shop, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his album 'These are the Clothes We'll Wear When We're Old' with a vinyl reissue.
David Israel plays Antone's Record Shop on Tuesday, September 8, from 6 PM to 7 PM. It's an in-store performance, so you'll be right there among the bins rather than in a traditional club.
The evening marks the 20th anniversary of These are the Clothes We'll Wear When We're Old, a record that's being pressed on vinyl for the very first time. Israel is an Austin artist, and this is the occasion that brings him to the shop. The vinyl reissue is the center of the night, and the set will be built around it.
There are a few extras to the music. Rambler and Saint Arnold's Brewing are providing free drinks, and Billie Buck has done a poster for the event. It's all ages, so you can bring whoever you like. The shop is at 2928 Guadalupe Street, and the whole thing is free.

It's a short window—6 PM to 7 PM—so if you want to catch the set and maybe grab a copy of the record, you'll want to be there on time. Free entry, all ages, Tuesday evening at Antone's.
