Four-week workshop to learn the signature Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Thunderstruck routine with Lauren Parra Faudree.
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Thunderstruck! kicks off at Ballet Austin on Sunday, September 6, and it's a four-week workshop rather than a one-off class. Over the course of the month, you'll be learning the signature Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader routine to Thunderstruck from start to finish.
Leading the sessions is Lauren Parra Faudree, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader herself. Having someone who's actually danced the routine in the official uniform brings a level of detail you won't get from a generic dance class. She'll be breaking down the choreography step by step, so you're not just throwing yourself into the deep end on day one. The whole point is to build the routine piece by piece until you've got the full thing down.
Because it's a four-week series, you're not just popping in for a single hour. You'll be back each week, refining the moves and getting the timing right, which is a big part of why the DCC style is so recognizable. It's a chance to work through the routine at a pace that lets it actually sink in, rather than trying to cram it all into one afternoon.
