Grand opening celebration for COTALAND Theme Park with complimentary food and beverages, a First Ride Ceremony, ribbon cutting, family entertainment and fireworks.
COTALAND opens its gates on Saturday, September 26, at COTALAND Theme Park, a new family-friendly amusement park built right inside Circuit of The Americas. It's tucked trackside between Turns 19 and 20 of the Formula 1 racetrack, so you're riding in the middle of the circuit itself. The park has more than 30 experiences that mix high-thrill roller coasters with family attractions, and the big draw is the chance to ride an active F1 track.
Two of the coasters get most of the attention. Circuit Breaker is Texas' first tilt coaster and only the second of its kind in the United States. Palindrome is a one-of-a-kind shuttle coaster that travels both forward and backward along the same track, soaring over an active roadway—it's cited as one of the most unique coaster designs in North America. Between those, there are plenty of family-focused rides for when you're not in the mood for a drop.
The grand opening weekend is more than just the rides. Throughout the evening, the park will have complimentary food and beverages. There's a First Ride Ceremony and a ribbon cutting with celebrity guests and VIP attendees, family-focused entertainment programming, and a fireworks celebration to cap it off.
