Guided yoga and nature-centered meditation under the pecan trees at Festival Beach Food Forest, welcoming to all levels and bodies.
Community Yoga happens every Sunday morning at Festival Beach Food Forest, from 11 AM to 12 PM, weather permitting. It's an outdoor session held under the shade of the food forest's pecan trees, led by one of the center's core volunteers. The practice combines gentle movement with nature-centered meditation, and it's open to all levels and bodies, so you don't need to be a regular yoga practitioner to join in.
When the session wraps, you're invited to stick around and explore the food forest, where you can forage and see the place in action. The whole thing is free and donation-based: if you're able, donations are encouraged, and everything goes toward supporting the community food forest itself. Since it's outdoors, it only happens when the weather holds, so it's a good idea to check in before you head out.
