Comedy Night Constant Headache w/ Eric Spicely & Friends

Eric Spicely hosts another edition of Constant Headache at Switchback Coffee and Beer on Sunday, August 30, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It's a free comedy show in South Austin that puts local comics on the same bill as touring names, and Spicely handles the hosting duties for the night.

If you're not familiar with the man behind the title, Spicely has a background that doesn't exactly scream stand-up: he's a former UFC fighter who traded the cage for the stage. Since making the switch, his work has appeared on Kill Tony, Netflix, and UFC Fight Pass. Constant Headache is his own night, and it's built around that mix of Austin regulars and acts passing through town.

The show runs as part of the venue's reverse Happy Hour on Sunday evenings, so it's a good way to spend a Sunday night in South Austin without spending much to get in. The lineup changes from night to night, and with touring acts in the mix, you'll get a different set of voices every time it comes around.
