Comedy Bang! Bang! Ground Beefing Tour 2026

Comedy Bang! Bang! is coming to the Riverbend Centre on Friday, September 11, as part of the Ground Beefing Tour 2026. The show is presented by Moontower Comedy, and it brings the award-winning podcast to a live stage here in Austin.

If you've only heard the podcast, the live version is a different beast. The whole thing is totally improvised, and it's performed in front of an audience rather than recorded in a studio. That means the energy of the room feeds into the show, and what happens on stage is built in the moment, not edited down in post. It's the same spirit as the podcast, just out in the open.

Scott Aukerman hosts the night, and he's joined by Paul F. Tompkins and the Comedy Bang! Bang! All-Stars. The All-Stars are the rotating cast of comedians who drop in to play characters and riff with Aukerman, so the lineup can shift from one show to the next. The whole thing is built around Aukerman interviewing guests who are almost always playing some kind of absurd persona, and the comedy comes from how they lean into those characters and where the conversation goes from there.

Doors open at 7 PM at the Riverbend Centre. Tickets are available through Do512.
