Cold War Kids celebrate the 20th anniversary of Robbers & Cowards with a signing and acoustic performance at Waterloo Records.
Cold War Kids are coming to Waterloo Records on Wednesday, October 7, for an in-store performance and record signing. They're in town to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Robbers & Cowards, the explosive debut album they put out back in 2006.
To mark the occasion, the album is getting an anniversary reissue that restores four previously unfinished tracks from those original 2006 sessions. It comes with a 16-to-20-page booklet full of archival history and a deep dive into how the record was made. The band will be signing advance copies of the vinyl at the Waterloo Records Stage, and anyone who buys the album leaves with a Cold War Kids poster.

It's a two-part afternoon: the signing starts at 4 PM, followed by an acoustic performance at 5 PM. If you're planning to get your copy signed, you'll want to be there early, as the signing kicks off an hour before they play. Between the signing and the set, there's plenty of time to browse the bins and hang out before the music starts.
