Hardcore punk legends Cold as Life perform live in Austin with supporting acts Soul Exchange, Fear of Loss, Spit My Rage and Born Savage.
Cold as Life are playing Brushy Street Commons on Saturday, August 15, their first-ever Texas show. They're Detroit hardcore legends, fronted by founding vocalist Rodney 'Rawn Beauty' Barger. The date comes at a heavy moment in the band's history: reports that Richard Werstine, long identified in connection with Barger's 1993 killing, was captured after more than three decades on the run.
It's a full bill, not just the headliner. Joining them are Soul Exchange, Fear of Loss, Spit My Rage, and Born Savage. That's five bands in one afternoon, so you'll want to get there early if you're planning on catching the whole run. The show starts at 4 PM, which is early for a hardcore bill, and it's at Brushy Street Commons, 501 Brushy Street, Austin, TX 78702.
