A relaxed, all-ages movement session where attendees move intentionally from head to toe through full range of motion with slow, deliberate repetitions, presented by Radio/East.
Audrey leads a session of Coffee & CARs at Radio/East on Saturday, October 3, starting at 9:45 AM. It's part of the venue's first Saturday of the month series, so if you miss this one, there's another coming the following month.
If you've never heard the term, CARs stands for Controlled Articular Rotations, and it has nothing to do with cars. The session is a relaxed, all-ages movement class where you move intentionally from head to toe, taking each joint through its full range of motion. The movements are slow, deliberate, and active, with no momentum or compensation involved. It's gentle and accessible, focused on building awareness and mobility rather than speed or intensity, so it works for a wide range of fitness levels.
The name is a bit of a wink: you're encouraged to grab a drink before the session and stick around afterward to chat, and the whole thing is open to all ages. It's as much about the social side as it is about the movement. Since it's a floor-based session, you'll need to bring your own mat or blanket.
