ACL Fest Nights concert featuring CMAT and Fancy Hagood at the Historic Scoot Inn in Austin.
CMAT plays the Historic Scoot Inn on Saturday, October 3, with Fancy Hagood opening. It's part of the Official 2026 ACL Nights, so it's one of the club shows running around the festival.
CMAT comes from Dublin, Ireland, and Fancy Hagood is an openly queer country artist from Bentonville, Arkansas. Hagood moved to Nashville at 17 to pursue country music, and his 2021 debut album, Southern Curiosity, blended country with glam rock and confessional pop, earning a Best Country Record nomination at the 2022 Libera Awards. His 2024 album, American Spirit, returned him to his roots. In 2022, he recorded "Blue Dream Baby" with Kacey Musgraves, a single Elton John later praised, and in 2024 he guested on Orville Peck's duets album Stampede and released the five-song EP Smothered, Covered & Fried.
