Andra Liemandt brings her children's book Enoughie Buddy & Friends: Superpowers Activate! to BookPeople on Tuesday, October 13, for a storytime and book signing. It's a morning session, starting at 10:30 AM, and it's free.
The story follows Enoughie Buddy and his friends—Leo, Lulu, Baya, Ravi, and Emi—as they discover their emotional superpowers: bravery, kindness, accepting yourself, solving problems, and mindfulness. They work these powers into a joyful chant and use special 'feelings antennae' to take a walk through the neighborhood, putting each one into action as they go. Liemandt presents the whole thing as a celebration of the one superpower everyone already has: the power to be ourselves. After the reading, she'll be signing books, so you can get a copy for the kids to take home.
