A live, actual-play Dungeon Crawler Carl roleplaying game show presented by Catacombs & Comedians, where stand-up comics roll for hilarity as they push through a dungeon-crawling campaign.
Chaos & Crawlers comes to Cap City Comedy Club on Tuesday, November 3, at 7:30 PM. It's a live, actual-play roleplaying game show presented by Catacombs & Comedians, and it's built around the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG. If you're not familiar with the setup, here's how it works: stand-up comics sit at a table live on stage and roll for hilarity as they push through a dungeon-crawling campaign. The comedy comes from the comics playing the game in front of you, so you see the rolls and the reactions as they go.
It's a crossover that fits the room. Cap City is an established Austin club known for its intimate, club-style setting, and it runs year-round programming of touring comedians and nationally recognized headliners alongside its midweek showcases. This show sits right in that midweek slot, bringing the tabletop game into the comedy club.
