Chad brings his one-man show, a satirical TED Talk-style seminar on his 'stoke philosophy', to the stage.
Chad Goes Deep brings his one-man show to the Paramount and Stateside Theatres on Friday, October 16. It's a satirical TED Talk-style seminar built around his so-called 'stoke philosophy,' and the whole thing is a solo act.
The premise is simple enough: Chad spends the night asking why 'bummer' has become such a prevalent mood in society and how to transcend it. He doesn't just leave it as a question, though. He offers 'The Chill Method,' a transformative technique he says will help audiences reclaim their inner joy. The format—a one-man show presented as a seminar—gives him the room to work through those ideas out loud, with the satirical edge keeping it from feeling like a self-help lecture.
