Soulful singer-songwriter Cas Haley performs live at The 04 Center with special guest blues-rocking drummer Lindsay Beaver.
Cas Haley plays The 04 Center on Saturday, August 8, with special guest Lindsay Beaver opening the night. Haley is a Texas singer-songwriter whose voice pulls from folk, reggae, country and blues, and he'll be the main feature of the evening.
Beaver comes from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and she's a blues-rocking drummer, songwriter and bandleader. Her influences run from Little Richard and The Ramones to Billie Holiday and Queens of the Stone Age. She's a classically trained vocalist and a jazz-trained drummer, and she released her Alligator Records debut, Tough As Love.
Between the two, the bill brings together a Texas singer-songwriter and a Canadian drummer-songwriter with roots in jazz and classical training. Haley's set will be the headlining act, with Beaver opening.
