Bubble Run comes to the Travis County Expo Center on Saturday, October 17. It's a 5K that swaps the race clock for mountains of colorful bubbles, bubble bogs, and clouds of foam, with music playing and foam covering the finish line. The whole thing is non-competitive and untimed, so you can go at your own pace without worrying about your time.
It's built for all ages and fitness levels, and children under four run free, which makes it a good one to do with the family. Since there's no clock running, you're just in it for the bubbles rather than the PR.
Bubble Run is one of six 5K adventure races produced by EventLab, alongside the Muddy Dash, FoamGlow, Blacklight Run, Terrain Race, and The Color Run. If you've done any of those, you'll have a good idea of the vibe here—it's more about the experience than the athletics.
