Indie music performance by Brynn Bowman at the AWKN Ranch as part of the Aurora Sessions.
Brynn Bowman is playing AWKN Ranch on Saturday, September 19, as part of the Aurora Sessions. It's an afternoon show, starting at 4 PM, so you'll be out and about while there's still plenty of daylight left.
Bowman is the sole name on the bill, and the music falls into the indie camp. If you've caught her before, you know the sound—melodic, guitar-driven, and firmly in that indie-rock territory. With no other acts to share the stage, the whole set is hers, and the afternoon slot means you're getting a full run of her material rather than a short opening set.
The venue is AWKN Ranch, located at 7600 Stillridge Dr in Austin. It's a bit of a drive from the center of town, so keep that in mind when you're planning your Saturday. Since it's a 4 PM start, you've got the option to make a day of it—head out early, catch the show, and still have your whole evening ahead of you.
