Brandon Flowers w/ Jess Williamson

Brandon Flowers plays Stubb's on Thursday, October 1, with Jess Williamson opening. It's part of the ACL Nights series, the run of shows Stubb's puts on around the festival, so it's one of those nights that fits right into the city's October music calendar.

Flowers is the voice and frontman of The Killers, and he's hailing from Henderson, Nevada, for this one. He'll be sharing the bill with Jess Williamson, who comes in from Los Angeles. The two bring different coasts to the same stage: Flowers from the desert of the Southwest and Williamson from the West Coast. It's a straightforward lineup, Flowers as the main feature with Williamson opening the night.

Stubb's lists the show as an all-ages night, so it's one you can bring younger fans along to. The venue is the Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater at 801 Red River St, right in the heart of Austin. The show starts at 7 PM, and since it's an outdoor space, it's the kind of night that works best when the October weather finally settles into something comfortable.

If you're planning to go, keep the date and time in mind: Thursday, October 1, 7 PM, at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you like.
