Braedon Barnhill

Braedon Barnhill plays Central Machine Works on Saturday, September 19, with the set starting at 12 PM. It's a midday show, which puts it in a different slot than your usual night out in the city.

Barnhill is an Austin-based country and Texas country artist, so this is a local act playing on his home turf. The set is built around his work in those two styles—country and Texas country—and he's the sole name on the bill. If you're into the Texas country scene, this is one of those afternoons where you can just show up and hear a local songwriter do his thing.

Central Machine Works is over at 4824 E Cesar Chavez St, in the 78702 zip code. Since it's a Saturday afternoon show, it's an easy one to fit into a weekend without having to clear your whole evening. Admission is free, so there's no ticket to buy in advance—you just show up. The music starts at 12 PM, and with no cover charge, it's a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday in East Austin.
