Halloween-themed event with horror book sale, flash tattoos, and a pop-up shop at BookPeople.
BookPeople is leaning into the Halloween season with Book Bash & Tattoo Flash, a full day of horror-themed deals and pop-ups on Sunday, October 25. The store will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM, so you've got a long window to work with.
If you've been meaning to stock up on horror, this is a good time to do it: every title in the horror section is 20% off throughout the day. The café is getting in on it too, with a special 'Potent Potions' menu running alongside the usual fare. And over in the Monkeywrench Books area, there's a pop-up shop set up for the day. Costumes are encouraged, so if you've got a Halloween look you've been waiting to wear, this is a low-stakes place to bring it out.
The tattoo side of things is handled by Cherry Pop Ink, who'll be doing flash tattoos from 11 AM to 7 PM. It's first-come, first-served, and sign-ups are in person only—nothing to book online in advance, so you'll want to show up early if you're aiming for a spot.
