Bluegrass Night with The Bluegrass Outfit

The Bluegrass Outfit are back at Radio Coffee & Beer on Monday, November 9, starting at 7 PM. If you've spent any time around the South Austin music scene over the last decade or so, the name probably sounds familiar. They're a loose association of bluegrass pickers from right here in Austin, and they've been playing Radio Coffee & Beer every Monday for fourteen years and counting.

That kind of longevity is rare for any local act, let alone one tied to a specific night of the week. Over the years, the band has become a regular fixture of the venue's Monday night series, which has earned a reputation as a South Austin institution. To give you an idea of the scale, their logged appearances run from August 2025 through September 2026, and they're still going. It's less of a one-off show and more of a long-running tradition that's become part of the neighborhood's weekly rhythm.

The night is presented by Radio/East and is open to all ages, so it's as easy to bring the kids as it is to drop in on your own.
