Black Marble is the project of Chris Stewart, who has released three albums. When he wrote and recorded the third, he had recently moved from New York to Los Angeles. With his car out of commission, he took a bus from his Echo Park apartment to a downtown studio and shaped Bigger Than Life, an ode to his new condition and a shimmering synth-pop response to the city's cacophony. That's the record that sits at the center of this one.
Public Circuit opens the night, so you'll get two acts on the bill. The show is all ages, and ADA accommodations are available upon request.
