Seven-course tasting menu at Garrison during Austin's race weekend, available for three nights only, featuring live-fire cooking.
Garrison is running a special tasting menu at the Fairmont Austin from October 22 to 24, during the city's race weekend. It's a seven-course menu cooked over post oak and open flame on the restaurant's signature live-fire grill, and it runs for three nights only.
The menu pairs bold flavors with Texas tradition and the season's finest ingredients, with every course coming off the fire. Garrison is bringing the tasting menu to the Fairmont Austin, which is the city's Official Formula 1 Paddock Club Partner and a destination for Grand Prix weekend, so the whole thing is timed to coincide with the race. If you're in town for the weekend, this is one of the dining options on the calendar.
Around the hotel, the weekend takes on a racing theme. There's live art by Armin Flossdorf, the official Formula 1 painter, racing-car installations and retail pop-ups in the lobby, and race-weekend wellness amenities: the Fairmont Spa Recovery Garage, the Ulu Performance Fuel Station, and an AG1 Morning Fuel Bar. The tasting menu is one part of that larger setup, so you can easily fit it in between the other things happening at the hotel.
