Basement

Basement play Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater on Saturday, October 17, as part of their 2026 North American tour. They're coming from the UK, where they've built a name in the post-hardcore and punk scenes, and they're bringing three support acts along for the night: Momma, Big Boy, and Febuary.

The set is built around Wired, their first full-length studio album in eight years. It's also a return to Run for Cover Records, the label they've worked with before. The tour is centered on that record, so you'll hear a good chunk of it live, with the support acts filling out the rest of the bill.

Basement is a five-piece—Duncan Stewart, Alex Henery, Andrew Fisher, James Fisher, and Ronan Crix—and they've drawn a lot of comparisons to bands like Tigers Jaw, The Story So Far, Turnover, and Joyce Manor. If those names ring a bell, you've got a pretty good idea of where they sit: melodic punk with a post-hardcore edge, the kind of stuff that works as well in a loud room as it does on headphones.

With Wired being their first full album in eight years, this tour is the first time the new material is out on the road. That makes the Stubb's date a good place to catch the new songs live, especially with Momma, Big Boy, and Febuary opening the night.
