Monthly pickleball music night with 80s Halloween hits, open play and a free drink at the bar.
Austin Pickle Ranch is bringing back its monthly music night on Friday, October 16, with a session they're calling Baseline Beats: 80's Halloween Hits. It's the same format as their other Baseline Beats nights—pickleball and music running at the same time—but this one leans into the season with a spooky '80s theme.
The night is built around two hours of open play, so you're not just watching a set; you're on the court while the music plays. The playlist for this one pulls from '80s classics with a Halloween twist, and the open play means you can jump in and play with whoever is there rather than needing a full group lined up in advance. It's a good way to get a few games in without having to organize a whole match yourself.
There are a couple of extras that come with the entry. You get a free drink at the bar, and there's a candy bowl for players to grab on their way in, which fits the Halloween theme. Between the open play, the drink, and the candy, it's a full evening rather than just a quick session on the court.
