Austin's longest-running monthly music industry mixer featuring networking, an open mic and live performances for the city's music ecosystem.
Austin Texas Musicians brings another edition of ATXM Night Shift to Hotel Vegas on Tuesday, September 1, from 7 PM to 10 PM. It's the city's longest-running monthly music industry mixer, and it happens on the first Tuesday of every month, so if you miss this one, there's always the next.
The night is built around networking and an open mic, and it's meant to bring together just about every part of Austin's music ecosystem in one room. That means musicians, songwriters, producers, venue owners, managers, promoters, educators, nonprofit leaders, students, and photographers all hanging out under one roof. The open mic gives anyone a chance to get up and play, and there are live performances throughout the evening. Community partners like HAAM and the SIMS Foundation are regulars, and The Good Wolf Experience serves as ATXM's official event management and production partner.
Behind the scenes, the night supports a larger cause. Every purchase from the ATXM Store goes directly to the Austin Texas Musicians Fund, which fuels advocacy, education, and economic development for the city's musicians and venues. So if you're in the mood to pick something up, it goes back into the community that keeps the city's music scene running.
