A book fair featuring local authors and makers, combined with the launch of Blue Owl Brewing's literary-inspired Sour Huckleberry Finn beer.
Blue Owl Brewing is hosting the ATX Book Fair this Sunday, August 9, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a book fair and a beer launch happening in the same space, so you can browse through titles and meet local authors while you sip. Along with the books, there will be artists and bookish makers selling their work, and a selection of reading-inspired gifts to look through.
The beer side of the afternoon is the release of Blue Owl's Sour Huckleberry Finn, a literary-inspired brew that shares a name with Mark Twain's classic. The brewery is launching it right alongside the fair, so it's the first place you'll be able to try it. If you're into sours, it's a good time to get a pour of something new while you're already hanging around the books.

Between the two, you've got a few hours to move at your own pace: browse the tables, chat with the authors, pick up something from the makers, and sample the new beer. It's a low-pressure way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Austin, and it works whether you're there for the books, the beer, or both. The fair runs from 12 PM to 4 PM at Blue Owl Brewing.
