Country, folk rock and americana live music from emerging Austin artist Angelyn as part of her regular happy hour residency.
Angelyn plays The Clive Bar on Tuesday, September 29, as part of her regular happy hour residency on Rainey Street. She's a 26-year-old Austin-based singer-songwriter and emerging country artist, and the set blends country, folk rock and Americana.
She didn't start here. Angelyn is originally from Huntington Beach, California, and her musical journey began with cover songs before she formed the band Blind Innocence. That group put out a debut album, Little Girl, and toured it nationwide, but the band broke up in 2020 when COVID-19 hit. After that, she moved to Austin and leaned into country music, building a following at local venues. The style she's playing now—that mix of country, folk rock and Americana—is what she's been developing since making the city her home.
