Angela DiTerlizzi will be at BookPeople on Sunday, October 18, starting at 2 PM, to celebrate the release of A Very Scary Book. The session runs about 45 to 60 minutes, with a discussion followed by a signing line where she'll personalize copies of the book.
A Very Scary Book is a humorous, social-emotional picture book written by New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Angela and Tony DiTerlizzi. It's about a very scary book living in an attic who longs for a friend. DiTerlizzi is an award-winning author of charming picture books, including The Magical Yet series, Some Bugs, and Just Add Glitter; her work has been featured in Entertainment Weekly and BuzzFeed, on the Today show, and in Cheerios boxes.

If you want to get a book signed, you'll need to buy a copy of A Very Scary Book or an item of equal value from BookPeople. Seating is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed, and there won't be a live stream or recording available. Attendees are asked to register via Eventbrite. The event is free and open to the public, held on the second floor of BookPeople at 603 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin.
