Drerup is originally from Ottawa, Canada, and has been singing and playing since his first jazz-club gig at age 16. He's written and performed on countless albums, toured 18 countries across five continents, and released two solo records along with numerous singles. He also earned a spot on Nick Jonas' team during season 18 of NBC's The Voice in 2020.
His style sits squarely in Americana, drawing on blues, country, rock and roll, R&B, and Latino-influenced music. It's a broad reach, and you'll hear those different threads running through the set. The venue, Steiner Ranch Steakhouse, sits on land that once housed rodeo horses and cattle and now hosts live music on the patio overlooking Lake Travis seven days a week.
