Amber Hamilton and Jennifer Brody are coming to BookPeople on Sunday, November 8, for a reading and signing session. They'll be presenting their books, Twelve Dark Hours and A Sacrifice of Destiny and Desire, with the talk running about 45 to 60 minutes, followed by a signing line for anyone who wants a copy signed.
Brody, who also writes as Vera Strange, is an award-winning author known for the Disney Chills series and the Continuum Trilogy. She's also the author of Spectre Deep 6, a Stoker finalist that Forbes called "a star in the graphic novel world." A Harvard graduate, she works as a film and television producer and writer, and teaches creative writing on the side. Her career started in Hollywood, where she worked on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Golden Compass; these days she lives and writes in Joshua Tree, California.
