Musical storytime with sing-along songs, rhythm instruments, scarves, and bean-bag animals.
Amber Blue is leading a sing-along storytime at BookPeople on Wednesday, October 14. It's a musical session built around songs you can sing along with, so it's more of a participatory thing than a sit-and-listen story hour.
Along with the singing, there are rhythm instruments for the kids to play, scarves to wave around, and bean-bag animals to hold onto. It's the kind of setup where the kids get to move and make some noise rather than just sitting still, so if you've got little ones who can't quite settle during a regular reading, this is exactly the sort of thing they'll take to. The songs and the instruments keep them involved throughout.
