All Skills Crochet Group

The All Skills Crochet Group meets at the Austin Public Library Windsor Park Branch on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a free program, and the name tells you exactly who it's for: anyone who wants to crochet, regardless of where they stand with the craft. If you've been making things for years, you'll fit in; if you've never even held a hook, you'll fit in too.

The group works on a new pattern every month, and this time around they're making small tapestries. To keep it open to everyone, they provide both a beginner and an advanced version of the pattern, so you can pick the one that matches your comfort level and work at your own pace. All the supplies are provided, which means you don't have to worry about buying yarn or hooks before you show up—though you're welcome to bring your own hooks if you have a favorite one you prefer.
