Alexi 8bit presents her synth-pop single 'Bloom' live, supported by Marcus Bell and TV Wonder, in an all-ages party setting.
Alexi 8bit is back on Saturday, August 1, at The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. (ABGB) with the release show for her new single, Bloom. It's her first release in a year and a half, and the song is a synthy, punchy break-up track that she says draws style inspiration from Grace Ives and Caroline Polachek. She'll be performing it live, and the night is set up as an all-ages party, so you can bring whoever you want.
Sharing the bill are TV Wonder and Marcus Bell, who'll both open before Alexi takes the stage. The whole thing runs from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, so there's plenty of room for all three acts to get their sets in without feeling rushed.
There was a fair amount of work that went into the single's presentation beyond the music. The cover art was created by Ava Bergen, with styling by Marta Elena Cortez-Neavel, makeup by Lainie Garcia, and photography by Yousof M. Alexi also gave a special thanks to Angel Spit for the chainmail outfit that appears in the shoot.
