Concert by Arcy Drive within the ACL Nights series at the historic Brushy Street Commons venue in East Austin.
Arcy Drive plays Brushy Street Commons on Thursday, October 8, as part of the ACL Nights series. They're the main draw, with Common People also on the bill.
If you haven't spent much time there, Brushy Street Commons is a bit of a local oddity. It sits inside the sound stage of the historic 501 Studios building in East Austin, a room that's spent more than thirty years at the center of the city's recording history. It's been the set for countless national commercials, and Austin legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Willie Nelson filmed music videos there. Universal Pictures outfitted the stage for the 1981 film Raggedy Man, starring Sissy Spacek and Eric Roberts, and the Texas Lottery drew and broadcast its million-dollar winners from the room for more than a decade. These days, the venue serves food, drinks, and live-music events at night.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the show is open to all ages, so it's as easy to bring along a younger crowd as it is to just show up on your own. Tickets are $31.44.
