ACL Music Festival Weekend One with Charli XCX, Twenty One Pilots, Skrillex, Lorde and more across nine stages.
ACL Music Festival returns to Zilker Park this October, running over two weekends: October 2–4 and October 9–11. It's the same setup we've come to expect from the festival—nine stages spread across the park, with hip-hop, rock, country, folk and EDM all sharing the same grounds. The lineup changes between the two weekends, so who you see depends on which one you pick.
Weekend One, October 2–4, is headlined by Charli XCX, Twenty One Pilots, Skrillex, Lorde, and Rufus Du Sol. Weekend Two, October 9–11, brings in Kings of Leon, and The XX plays both weekends. Between the headliners, the nine stages keep things moving across genres, so you can jump from a rock set to a dance floor without leaving the park.
If you're bringing the whole family, there's Austin Kiddie Limits, a dedicated kid-friendly area with its own stage. For everything else, the ACL Eats food hall, the Barton Springs Beer Hall and the Art Market are all on-site, so you can eat, drink and browse while you're between sets. It's a lot to cover in a few days, and the two-weekend format means you can either pick one or double up.

For a bit of context, the festival started in 2002 and takes its name from Austin City Limits, the longest-running music television show in history. Over the years, it's hosted names like Metallica, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kendrick Lamar, Arcade Fire, Jay Z and Billie Eilish. This year's edition follows that same pattern: a mix of big names and a wide range of styles across the park. The festival runs October 2–4 and October 9–11 at Zilker Park.
