Five-day holiday market with over 200 retail merchants, festive experiences and children's activities at the Palmer Events Center.
A Christmas Affair returns to the Palmer Events Center from November 13 to 22, the Junior League of Austin's signature holiday market and largest annual fundraiser. It's a long-running Austin tradition that brings together more than 200 curated merchants from across the country, so it's one of the better spots in town to get your holiday shopping done in one go. This year's edition is billed as the Season of Light, and it's a bit bigger than usual: they've added a dedicated stretch of children's programming and an online auction, with all the proceeds supporting the League's mission to empower women and strengthen the Austin community through its impact programs and community partnerships.
The market itself runs from November 19 to 22 at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd. General admission hours are November 19 from 12 to 8 PM, November 20 and 21 from 10 AM to 7 PM, and November 22 from 10 AM to 4 PM, with children five and younger getting in free. If you're looking for something more than just shopping, there's a full calendar of ticketed events. The Season of Light opening night is November 18 from 7 to 10 PM for $150. The Sunlit Social Club runs November 19 from 9 AM to 12 PM, with general admission at $85 and VIP at $115. That same evening, the Diamonds After Dark Disco goes from 6 to 10 PM, general admission $75 and VIP $125. Early mornings are covered by Sparkle and Spritz on November 20 and Shimmer and Spritz on November 21, both from 8:30 to 10 AM for $50 each.

Before the market even opens, there's a separate run of activities. A Mahjong Tournament takes place November 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, $150 for an individual or $700 for a table of four. Children's parties run November 13 to 15, with general admission from $38 to $60 and VIP from $50 to $60, and those are held at The Junior League of Austin's Community Impact Center rather than the Palmer. There's also a raffle running throughout, with tickets at $25 for one or $100 for five. The prizes this year include 14K yellow gold diamond hoop earrings, a Louis Vuitton OnTheGo PM handbag, and a YETI bundle, donated by Benold's Jewelers, Texas Regional Bank, YETI, and Two Goose BBQ.
