A free festival celebrating custom bicycle culture with custom builds, pedal car displays, vintage stroller showcase, Power Wheels competition, live DJs and music, and a vendor village.
The 2nd Annual Central Texas Custom Bicycle Festival returns to the South Austin Recreation Center on Saturday, August 1, 2026. It's a free, all-ages day that celebrates custom bicycle culture, creativity, craftsmanship and community, and it's one of the more unique celebrations of its kind in Central Texas. The festival is presented by ATL Family in partnership with MAS CULTURA.
Inside, the main draw is the custom bicycle show floor and exhibits, where you can walk among custom builds and lowrider bikes. The custom bike scene is a big part of the day, and you'll find enthusiasts from across Texas and beyond there to talk shop. Beyond the bikes, the floor fills out with pedal car displays, a vintage stroller showcase, a Power Wheels competition, a lowrider RC show, RC Boulevard and scale model displays. It's a wide-ranging look at custom work on wheels, from full-sized bikes down to the smallest scale models.
Outside, there's a vendor village in the park where you can shop local vendors, and a Franken Bike bicycle swap meet for anyone looking to pick up parts or trade. Live DJs and live music performances will run throughout the day, with the specific lineup still to be announced. Between the show floor, the vendor village, and the swap meet, there's plenty to do whether you're there for the bikes or just to hang out.
