Roommate Collective is a gift shop and shared retail space in East Austin, inside the Springdale General complex at 1023 Springdale Road, Unit #6B. The shop brings together three locally owned businesses: Jollie Ollie Designs, run by Reannon Overbey; Have a Nice Day, created by illustrator and muralist Steffi Lynn; and Little Note Shop, run by Pei Sim. Their shared tagline, “Cute Stuff | Fun People | Nice Days,” gives a good idea of the store’s colorful, casual feel.

The selection covers stationery, stickers, keychains, illustrated prints, handcrafted earrings, apparel, plants, small home accessories and other giftable items. A vintage photo booth, sometimes called Silvia, is one of the more unusual features. The shop also carries items that may not be available online, including Baggu products. Roommate Collective’s own merchandise includes the Roommate Collective Tote Bag for $25, the RC Foldable Picnic Tote Bag for $16, shirts for $30 and several vinyl stickers priced at $4. Some products, such as the Cactus Roommate Shirt and Foldable Tote Bag, are listed as sold out, so the online stock can change.
Prices generally stay in the small-gift range, although special events can cost more; the listed Best in Show Prize Ribbon Craft Night was $55. Customer feedback gives the shop a 4.8/5 rating on Google Maps from 80 reviews, with comments often mentioning the knowledgeable, kind staff and the variety of handmade goods. Roommate Collective is open Monday and Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and closed Tuesdays. It is a straightforward stop for browsing locally made accessories, picking up a small gift or finding something colorful for the home, with the added convenience of several independent Austin brands sharing one address.
