Austin Restaurant Weeks is underway from Friday, August 28, through Sunday, September 13, 2026, giving diners two weeks to try prix fixe menus at restaurants and bars across the greater Austin area. The event includes lunch, brunch, dinner, cocktails, and participating spots ranging from neighborhood restaurants to steakhouses, seafood destinations, breweries, and cocktail bars. Menus can change, so it is worth checking the official event site before making plans.

The pricing is straightforward. $25 lunch and brunch menus include two or three courses, while $50 and $75 dinner menus offer three or four courses. Each price level includes a donation to the Central Texas Food Bank: $4 from the $25 menus, $7 from the $50 dinners, and $10 from the $75 dinners. Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails contribute $2, and each participating glass of wine or beer adds $1. Since the event began in 2018, Austin Restaurant Weeks has raised nearly 2.9 million meals for the food bank. The Central Texas Food Bank serves nearly 93,000 people each week through its own programs and a network of almost 250 nonprofit partners.
There is a wide range of places to choose from this year. For a more polished dinner, the lineup includes BOA Steakhouse Austin, J Prime Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab, and Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse. Diners looking for Austin restaurants with a neighborhood feel can consider Odd Duck, Foreign & Domestic, Hillside Farmacy, Dai Due, L’Oca d’Oro, Intero, Poeta, or El Raval. The list also includes Hattie B’s, Kerbey Lane Cafe, Moonshine Patio Bar and Grill, Ranch 616, Taco Flats, and Austin Daily Press, along with options at The Domain and in South Austin.
The event is also a chance to plan around drinks or a lighter stop. Codependent Cocktails + Coffee, DrinkWell, House Wine, Honey Moon Spirit Lounge, The Brew and Brew, and Blue Owl Brewing are among the participating beverage-focused spots, while Goodies Cookie Delivery and Suga’s Cakery add dessert options. Reservations are recommended at most restaurants, although walk-ins are welcome. Because each restaurant sets its own menu and availability, the official Austin Restaurant Weeks website is the best place to compare current offerings and confirm details before heading out. With the event running through September 13, there is still time to fit in a lunch, dinner, or cocktail stop that matches your budget.
