Arkansas country singer-songwriter Waylon Wyatt performs his Dustpiles World Tour at Variety Playhouse.
Waylon Wyatt brings his Dustpiles World Tour to Variety Playhouse on Friday, October 16. The Arkansas country singer-songwriter is playing Atlanta as part of a run of more than 40 dates across North America, Europe, and Australia—a stretch he describes as "the biggest and best one for me yet."
The tour follows the release of his debut album, Dustpiles, which came out July 17 on Music Soup/Darkroom Records. That's the record he's out supporting, and it's the material that'll be front and center on the set. If you've been following him, you know his sound is built around storytelling, and that's what he's bringing to the stage here.
Wyatt's been keeping busy on the road. He's currently on his own headline Everywhere Under The Sun tour, and he's also been playing supporting dates for Sam Barber and Turnpike Troubadours. This world tour takes that same energy and carries it well beyond Georgia, with the Atlanta stop fitting into a schedule that spans three continents. It's a big jump from the regional runs he's been doing, and the Dustpiles material is the catalyst for it.
