The Hip Abduction

The Hip Abduction play Terminal West on Thursday, October 22, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The venue is inside the King Plow Arts Center at 887 W Marietta St NW in Atlanta.

If you're not familiar with them, the band blends reggae, indie rock and world music, with upbeat, globally inspired rhythms. Their live shows tend to create a relaxed, festival-like atmosphere, and this one is no different. They're the only act on the bill, so the whole evening is built around their set.

Terminal West is one of Atlanta's well-regarded live music venues, and it sits inside the King Plow Arts Center, which gives the show an intimate setting. It's a good spot if you'd rather be close to the stage than in a huge hall. The show runs from 7 PM to 9 PM, so it's a straightforward mid-week date that doesn't run too late into the night.
