Immersive NBA game between the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs at Cosm Atlanta, with live action broadcast on 12K+ LED domes.
The Detroit Pistons take on the San Antonio Spurs at Cosm Atlanta on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 8 PM. It's not a game you'll watch from a seat in the stands, though. The whole thing is presented in 'Shared Reality,' Cosm's immersive on-court experience that puts you right in the middle of the action. The idea is that you'll see every foul, three-pointer, and dunk as if you were actually on the court, rather than watching from the sidelines.
That's where the tech comes in. The venue uses specialized camera and production work to broadcast live games onto an 87-foot-diameter, 12K+ LED dome. It blends high-res visuals with the energy of the crowd and gives you angles you'd never get at a regular arenaβthink from behind the bench or right under the rim. It's a live broadcast, so you're seeing the game as it happens, just from a perspective that puts you inside the play.
Cosm has been building this out for a few years now. In February 2023, the NBA became the first professional sports league to partner with them, ahead of their first immersive venue opening at Hollywood Park in Los Angeles in July 2024. A second one followed in Dallas at The Colony's Grandscape, with three more slated for Atlanta, Detroit, and Cleveland in 2026 and 2027. Cosm frames the whole thing as the place where 'the chase for the Larry O'Brien Trophy starts.'
