Live show by Moony (Seth Findley), singer-songwriter and former frontman of Honest Men, touring his album 'William Trimtoe' at Smith's Olde Bar.
Moony plays Smith's Olde Bar on Tuesday, October 20, with Desmond Myers opening. Moony is the stage name of Seth Findley, a Singapore-raised, now Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He first made his mark as the frontman and primary songwriter of the indie rock trio Honest Men, who disbanded in 2022.
He's touring his second album, William Trimtoe, a self-produced, hour-long fever dream that reimagines a 19th-century Scotch-Irish folktale. The record runs from hardcore and psychedelic to electronic, indie and Gaelic folk. Findley describes the project as "the life and death of Seth Findley unfolded in an uncanny array of sights and sounds inscribed by a 187-year-old octopus."
This follows his debut album, WARNING HIGH CUBE (Full Lunar Cycle), which he released and toured throughout 2024 and 2025. That record built him a cult following of self-styled "moonies" drawn to his rich visuals, dense lore and the "moonyverse," a hidden pocket of Earth in his world-building. William Trimtoe takes him in a different direction, trading the moonyverse for a reimagined folktale.
