R&B singer-songwriter Jai'Len Josey plays Vinyl on West Peachtree Street in Atlanta with support from LAYA and Zyah Belle on her Serial Romantic Tour.
Jai'Len Josey brings her Serial Romantic Tour to Vinyl on Tuesday, October 27, with support from LAYA and Zyah Belle. It's a hometown show for Josey, an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter, producer, and Broadway star who's built her sound from a few different worlds: R&B, hip-hop, old-school Detroit House, and musical theater. The Atlanta date is one of nine on the tour, presented by Bowe Inc.
She first made her mark behind the scenes as a songwriter, penning the Platinum-certified "Pressure" on Ari Lennox's Age/Sex/Location, and later toured as support on that album's tour. From there she moved to the stage, playing Pearl in The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! before refining her own sound on the EPs Illustrations (2020) and SOUTHERN DELICACY (2023). Her full-length debut, Serial Romantic, released through Def Jam Recordings, draws on R&B greats like Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, and Leon Thomas and earned her acclaim from Billboard, VIBE, Rated R&B, ESSENCE, and Okayplayer.
