Suzy Jones plays The Plaza at Colony Square on Friday, October 30, as part of the Groovin' On The Square series. It's the final date of the season, which runs from April through October, with live music filling the square once a month on the last Friday of each month. The format is intentionally low-key: two hours of live performance on a Friday evening, rain or shine. If the weather turns, the show moves under cover to The Patio, the covered area between Politan Row and The Plaza.
Seating is first come, first served, and the organizers encourage you to bring your own blankets and chairs. Outside food and drink aren't allowed, though you can bring in takeout from the restaurants within the square. The evening's social hub is The Patio, home to Politan Row's outdoor bar, where you can pick up a drink before or during the music. The show runs from 6 PM to 8 PM, and admission is complimentary.
