Volleyball match between Georgia State University and Appalachian State, themed as Halloween/Alumni Night.
Georgia State University Volleyball takes on Appalachian State at the GSU Sports Arena on Friday, October 30, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's a home match for GSU, and the timing puts it right on the eve of Halloween, which the school is leaning into for the night.
They've billed this as a double-feature: Halloween Night and Alumni Night. The Halloween side is the easy part—it's a volleyball match on the night before the holiday, so the atmosphere should be a bit more festive than your average game. The Alumni Night side is for the former GSU players returning to the arena to watch the current squad in action. If you've got ties to the program, it's the night to come back and see how the team is doing.
On the court, it's GSU versus Appalachian State. The match runs from 6 PM to 8 PM, so it's an early start that gets you out of the arena and on with your Friday night plans by 8. It's held at the GSU Sports Arena, right here in Atlanta.
