Georgia State University Men's Basketball vs Texas Southern

Georgia State University Men's Basketball takes on Texas Southern at the GSU Convocation Center on Saturday, December 12. It's a home game for the Panthers, played right here in Atlanta, so you'll find them on their own court for this one.

If you've been following the team this season, this is one of those mid-December matchups that helps set the tone before the schedule really ramps up. Texas Southern comes in from Houston, so it's a cross-country trip for them to play in the heart of the city. For GSU, it's a chance to defend home court in front of a local crowd.

The game tips off at 3 PM and runs until 5 PM, which puts it right in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. It's an early start compared to the usual night games, so you'll be out of the arena and on with the rest of your weekend by late afternoon. If you're planning to head over, keep in mind the Convocation Center is the home court for the Panthers, and the atmosphere usually reflects that.

So, mark your calendar for Saturday, December 12, at the GSU Convocation Center in Atlanta. Tip-off is at 3 PM, and the game wraps up around 5 PM.
