Futurebirds play The Eastern in the Dairies Complex of Atlanta's Reynoldstown neighbourhood, presented by Zero Mile.
Futurebirds play The Eastern on Friday, November 27, with their album Easy Company at the center of the set. It's a single-bill night, so they're the only act on the bill.
If you've followed them for a while, you know they've been around. They recently celebrated their 15th anniversary, and they've spent those years building a reputation as a critically acclaimed group. Easy Company is the record they're bringing to the stage, and it'll make up the bulk of the evening. The set will lean on the new material, though they'll reach back into their catalog to fill out the night.
The Eastern is a purpose-built venue in the Dairies Complex of Reynoldstown, and it's run by Zero Mile, the company formed in 2016 by the operators of Georgia Theatre, Variety Playhouse and Terminal West. The three venues share booking, marketing and operational resources, so if you've spent time at any of them, you'll recognize the hand behind the scenes here. The Eastern is the newest of the group, built from the ground up for live music rather than converted from something else.
