All-ages rock show by the Atlanta trio Buddha Trixie, formed by three Park Village Elementary School students, at The Masquerade.
Buddha Trixie play The Masquerade - Purgatory on Thursday, October 22. It's a single-act bill, so they're the only ones on the program.
There's a bit of a childhood story behind the band. The three members — guitarist Andrew Harris, singer and drummer Daniel Cole, and bassist Dennis Moon — grew up side by side and all went to Park Village Elementary School. They first got noticed with a cover of John Mayer's "Gravity," which they played at their middle school graduation. That's the same trio that'll be on stage in Atlanta: Harris on guitar, Cole handling both vocals and drums, and Moon on bass.
