Halloween-themed pasta classes at Bellina Alimentari in Ponce City Market, with guests encouraged to wear costumes.
Bellina Alimentari is running a series of Halloween-themed pasta classes throughout the week, with one session landing on Saturday, October 31, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. It's part of their Halloween Week lineup, so if you've been wanting to get your hands on some pasta making, this is a good window to do it.
Bellina Alimentari is located inside Ponce City Market, so you're right in the middle of things. The classes are hands-on, and the Halloween twist is as much about the atmosphere as the food: guests are welcome and encouraged to show up in costume. If you've got a costume you've been waiting for an excuse to wear, this is a pretty low-stakes way to get it out of the closet—you'll be making pasta, not walking a runway, so you can keep it as simple or as elaborate as you like.
Since it's a series, the October 31 class is just one of several they're hosting across the week, so if Saturday night doesn't work for you, there are other dates to look at. The session runs from 7 PM to 8:30 PM, an hour and a half that takes you from the first bit of flour on the table to a finished plate. It's a short enough window that you can still have a full Halloween evening around it, and since it's at Ponce City Market, there's plenty to do before or after.
